The Music Clubhouse Coordinator develops, organizes, implements and oversees all aspects of high quality music programs in accordance with the guidelines of the Music and Youth Initiative that are consistent with the policies and mission of The Merrimack Valley YMCA.

Education/Know How:
- High School Diploma. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
- Three years related experience working in teen programs preferred.
- An advanced and proven understanding of music performance theory and pedagogy.
- Demonstrated ability to play at least one instrument at an advanced level and demonstrated ability to teach entry level music (Voice, piano, drums, guitar, etc.) to students is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize music technology and computers.
- Completion of Child Abuse Prevention Training, CPR/AED and First Aid within policy designated time period.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Demonstrated ability working effectively with youth ages 10-18.
