After School programs at the Y offer a safe, positive environment for making friends, exploring interests, and so much more. With an experienced, caring staff and a variety of activities including homework support and character-building activities, Y After School programs offer peace of mind and convenience. Full day programs are offered when schools are not in session. YMCA After School programs serve children 5-14 years old.

Experienced Educators – Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) trained in First Aid, CPR, and Child Abuse Prevention.
Transportation – Free, convenient bus transportation for your child from school to the YMCA. (Some restrictions apply. Contact your branch for details.)
State-of-the-art Active Learning Center – Kids will learn Active Science, as well as participate in literacy and STEM activities.
The Arts – Dance, arts & crafts, music performances and more!
Homework Help – One-on-one time provides extra guidance for your child.
Gym – Kids play games and learn good sportsmanship in a special gymnasium all their own.
Outdoor Space – A private playground offers fresh air and exercise.
Pool – (Andover/North Andover and Lawrence Only) Recreational and instructional swimming with YMCA certified lifeguards.
KidKiosk Software – Secure electronic check-in/check-out and updates.
