Data Entry Coordinator

The Data Entry Coordinator will be an integral part of a development team. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Daxko platform and for coordinating the receipt of most gifts. Maintaining and integrating accurate data, particularly related to the entering of gifts is essential.

• Responsible for accurate and timely data collection, input and processing of all donor and gift information into Daxko donor database.
• Communicate with donors and YMCA staff when necessary to confirm donor intent or update donor information.
• Manages pledge reminder process, tracking and reporting regularly on outstanding pledges and matching gifts, and generating reminders. Follows up with donors and matching gift companies as needed to maximize matching gift revenue.
• Maintains appropriate electronic and paper filing and follow-up systems for financial and donor records.
• Prepares daily deposits.
• Prepare timely gift acknowledgment letters/tax receipts and other correspondence.
• Provides support for annual appeal mailings and invitations as needed by producing mail merges, labels, etc.
• Support Development Department with administrative details associated with Annual Campaign, Auction, Golf Tournament, Adelante Scholarship Dinner Committee meetings and other fundraising initiatives as needed.

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent computer skills including extensive knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience using database software. Experience with Daxko, or other fundraising database software is preferred; additional training will be provided.
• Proven data management abilities including data processing and donor record maintenance as well as excellent donor services skills.
• A relentless attention to detail and focus on accuracy, and sound organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, balance multiple projects and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable work and interpersonal style.
