Important Documents: Click here for updated documents such as the Childcare Handbook
Masks: Staff (vaccinated or unvaccinated) will continue to wear masks indoors per CDC guidance.
Health Attestations: Starting September 1, 2021, we will once again be requiring written daily health attestation forms for children. Please use the QR code provided by the program to complete this attestation.
Covid Pool Testing: Starting in mid-September, we will be offering Covid Pool Testing for our childcare participants and staff. Pool Testing will be done once a week at the program sites. This will allow us to monitor infections in asymptomatic individuals. Covid Pool Testing participation will be voluntary. Please contact your program director for Consent Enrollment forms and other information.
Hours of operation: As the Delta variant continues to increase the number of active Covid cases in our community, we will continue to limit our full day hours of operation. In an effort to comply with EEC’s requirements, including ratios and best practices around social distancing including staggered arrival and departure times, we will be offering the following schedules:
Preschool and Toddler programs
Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm
School Age programs/Out of school time
Drop off must be completed by 9:15am. Children will not be accepted after 9:15 (unless prior arrangements have been made with the director).
Pick up will begin at 3:00pm and end promptly at 5:00pm (6:00pm for School Age childcare on days when school is in session)
Anyone picking up after 5:00pm (6:00pm for School Age childcare on days when school is in session) will be charged a late fee of $1.00 per minute.
Drop off procedures: In order to limit the number of people in our locations, we will continue all pick up and drop off curbside, outside of the YMCA. Parents/guardians should park in designated child care parking spaces and come to the door to drop off their child. Please do not enter the program space.
Hand washing: Children will be required to wash and sanitize their hands upon entering the center.
If your child shows symptoms of being sick: Children with any symptoms related to being sick in any way will not be allowed to attend. Children will not be allowed to return to the program until they have been symptom-free for 24 hours and have a negative PCR Covid test.
If your child gets sick while at the center: Any child that gets sick while at the center will be separated into a designated isolation area.
Cleaning procedures: In addition to our regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures, we are implementing more stringent cleaning policies as outlined by EEC. Staff will frequently disinfect/sanitize regularly used surfaces throughout the day and everyone will be washing hands multiple times a day.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding of our new and necessary procedures. We will continually keep parents/guardians up to date with any changes or new procedures that may be required to ensure everyone’s safety.
