Thank you to all who participated in our online auction to fund Merrimack Valley YMCA programs that fight food insecurity and close the achievement gap in our community. Thanks to your generous support, we were able to raise $18,000 to support our efforts.
ACHIEVEMENT GAP
Each summer, hundreds of children from elementary age through high school participate in FREE Y programs
designed to keep their bodies and minds active. For every 10 children that participate, it costs the Y $1,500.
FOOD INSECURITY
Throughout this crisis, our Y has provided grab and go meals and groceries to a growing number of
people. It costs $8,000 a week to fund our food insecurity programs.
