The Camp Otter Director and School Age Site Coordinator, under the supervision of the Executive Director and School Age Program Director respectively, provides safe, motivational and knowledgeable leadership to the members, volunteers and program participants.
The Camp Director is responsible for the management of Camp Otter, an 11-week day camp located in Salem, NH, including the facility, staff, campers, parent relations, budget and on-site fiscal matters. The development of pre and post season rentals, outdoor education and adventure based programming and the expanded use of the site is a specific goal associated with this position. These responsibilities shall include the opening and closing of camp and working with the camp maintenance staff. The Camp Director will supervise the counselors, staff and vendors, and will be ultimately responsible for the safety, efficiency and quality of camp. During the off-season, the Camp Director will assist with the promotion, marketing and philanthropic efforts for the Camping Services Branch located in Lawrence, MA.
The School Age Site Coordinator is responsible for developing, organizing and implementing a high quality before school program at the Cole School located in Boxford, MA. The School Age Coordinator, under the supervision of the Boxford School Age Director, provides safe, motivational and knowledgeable leadership to the program participants and families.
