Thank You For Going The Extra Mile: Ashely Bautista

Ashley is a rock star! She has been working for the YMCA for over 6 years as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at both our Lawrence and ANA Branches. (Ana most recently) She was very soon promoted to Head Swim Instructor and has worked tirelessly to put out a great program, manage our private swim lessons and lead the swim instructor staff, all while juggling a busy school schedule as a full time student at Emmanuel College in Boston! She has volunteered to help at Y-I-Swim events, membership Family events like the Halloween Spooky Party or Summer Splash Bash and she is constantly voicing innovative and creative programing and marketing ideas for the department. Ashley loves the YMCA! She has even changed her major to an area more aligned with working with youth, health and law. The staff look up to her, the parents and swimmers trust her and she is a wonderful face and advocate for the program. Ashley is reliable, hardworking, committed to a fault and a wonderful person.
