In partnership with the YMCA, the Merrimack College Campus Kitchen Project is a student-led organization that aims to reduce food waste while tackling food insecurity in our community.
The students recover unserved, useable food from the Merrimack College kitchen and Stop & Shop and use it to prepare meals. Meals were served to teens at the Lawrence YMCA as well as the 73 formerly homeless men who live in the Lawrence YMCA Single Room Occupancy (SRO). Watch our video to learn more.
