Over the past 5 years, Linda has been able to use her personality to impact fundraising for the annual campaign. It all started when she put a grass skirt on for our first “spin the wheel” campaign in 2013. Linda’s willingness to increase awareness and promote the branch’s crazy idea to raise money made the campaign a success. She promoted what we do to the many members we serve and educated them as they made donations at her request. Since that time, Linda has only improved as a fundraiser. She can identify those that have capacity to give, and in her shy little way, engages them in our efforts to raise money. Linda’s ability to build relationships with those we serve and her unwavering tenacity proves that success comes with a smile, hard work and maybe just a hint of sarcasm.
