Working closely with the school department, the students are provided academic support and enrichment throughout the program. During the summer, a number of speakers visit the program to talk about a variety of topics including the importance of hard work, respect and determination. In addition to offering an opportunity to hone their basketball skills, all participants also receive a membership to the Lawrence Y, providing a safe and nurturing place to be over the summer and during the school year.
