Lawrence YMCA Youth Receive New Sneakers Through New Balance Foundation Gift
Nineteen children enrolled in the Power Up program at the Lawrence YMCA recently received brand new sneakers thanks to a generous gift from the New Balance Foundation.
Supported through a grant from the New Balance Foundation, the Power Up program helps children build healthy habits through structured lessons, nutrition education, and physical activity. The new sneakers will help participants feel confident and fully engaged throughout the program’s activities. At the conclusion of the eight-week session, each child will be able to keep their sneakers.
The Merrimack Valley YMCA is grateful for the continued partnership and support of the New Balance Foundation, whose commitment is helping local youth lead healthier, more active lifestyles.
